Weis Lab

Research in the Weis Lab is concentrated in developing and deploying computational modeling and non-invasive imaging methodologies to explore the biophysics of disease, with an emphasis on driving clinical therapeutic interventions. Research projects focus on multi-disciplinary and team-science investigations of disease progression, therapeutic response, and survivorship in cancer and intestinal diseases. Utilizing a biophysical computational imaging framework, we develop and validate imaging-based mathematical analysis approaches that evaluate quantitative parameterization of tissue function based on observational imaging measurement data.
